Grief Speaker & Certified Grief Educator
Ursula Darby
Public Speaker | 22+ Years of Experience

Grief, loss, caregiving, and major life changes are already affecting the people in your organization, workplace, or community.

Most people want to help someone who is grieving but don't know what to say, what to do, or how to stay present when things get difficult.

My work helps audiences understand grief differently so they leave with greater confidence, practical insight, and a deeper understanding of how to support themselves and others.

My goal is simple: to make grief less isolating.

I’m Ursula Darby, a Certified Grief Educator and public speaker with over 22 years of experience. I work with conferences, workplaces, women’s organizations, service clubs, and community-based events to create real, honest conversations about grief and healing. Based in Ontario and available worldwide, I offer interactive keynote-style talks and grief education sessions that leave audiences informed, supported, and equipped with tools they can use long after the event.

Community Partnerships & Recognition

Ursula’s speaking and fundraising work has supported nonprofit and community-based organizations across Ontario, including animal rescues and Women’s House Serving Bruce & Grey.

I lead interactive, honest conversations that make people feel seen, whether I’m speaking to 10 or 200 people.

I combine compassion, humour, and real-world insight to create safe, meaningful spaces where people can reflect, connect and begin to heal.
