![]() My career can be very intense with emotion and my clients often cry during their reading. It is painful to lose a loved one and it affects our lives with such great magnitude that it can stop us in our tracks. I am a strong advocate of therapy and place great importance on Grief Support Groups and individual therapy. Putting energy into your health and well-being can change your life for the better. As a medium, I don’t feel that I have special privileges. I work energetically on a daily basis, not only as a psychic medium but as a registered massage therapist too. This heightens my awareness and makes me a conduit for information. My closest friend passed away a year and a half ago, suddenly and without warning. I, like you, was devastated and I felt crushed by the weight of her absence. I don’t sit around speaking to spirits for the heck of it. I live here; I pay bills, have appointments, buy groceries and spend time with friends, just like you do. I had no idea what would happen when my friend left so abruptly. She passed on a Wednesday. The next day, I was outside sobbing, trying to make sense of the tragedy that had occurred. I heard my friend say, “hello”. I nearly jumped out of my skin. I was shocked and not expecting to hear from her. I responded and asked her why she had left. I then heard, “I was called.” She then vanished as quickly as she arrived. I was in disbelief. It was so vivid and comforting. “She got called.” It made sense. I didn’t feel relief or less hurt, I was numb with grief. I had outbursts that seemed to come out of nowhere, fits of screaming and sobbing, it flowed out of my being. I have never felt so alone or carried so much pain. I am not exempt. I know that spirit lives on. It’s a reality, not a fallacy. It has always been my reality especially when I didn’t want it to be. It was and still is REAL. I don’t have the answers. I don’t know why we die, where we go or what we are doing on the other side. I learn from spirits in readings, they teach me what they see, hear and feel. They visit us. They know what’s happening in our lives and they see our future. They guide us, listen to us, and try their best to let us know that they exist. Without question, I know they are there. Do I have an advantage? Yes, I listen and do not dismiss their presence. I give them time to express themselves, I engage them and I believe them. I don’t hear a sound, or presence and think, ah, that must be my neighbors being noisy or think it’s my imagination. It is my REALITY. Someone is trying to get my attention, for the millionth time!! I ask that you remain skeptical of every situation in your life. This approach will remind you to question your experiences. Be open to the possibility that your friends and family in spirit are close and with you. Allow your mind to be open to your imagination; it is the only way to access your intuitiveness. Always acknowledge someone in spirits presence, whether you say it out loud or in your head, they know. When you acknowledge them it allows them to get your attention. Being fearful will cloud your judgement, being emotional will stop the flow of information. Simply become the observer of them, and thank them for visiting. Being able to connect with spirit is INNATE. It is not something outside of you; it is something within you, an ability that we all share. Ask yourself when did you dream about your friend or family in spirit? Has it occurred often and when was it? Did you speak with them? Did you become afraid and wake up? They visit when you sleep because you are on guard and readily making excuses for their presence. Be open. Ask them to visit and give you a sign. Allow them to comfort you when you need it the most. This is their gift to you.
